Why take this course?

Life and our work life in particular throws up situations and individuals that press our buttons. Our responses vary. Some attack to regain a feeling of control while others draw back hoping to avoid any escalation and potential conflict. This course is designed for people who want to do something different. To approach situations knowing that they will be able to remain calm and work through things in a productive manner balancing their own needs with those of others.

By exploring the origins of our current behaviour and understanding the complex workings of the mind, this course shows how we are able to generate greater internal resources. When we couple these resources with a practical set of tools and techniques we can effectively cope with the most trying of situations and begin to transform our working relationships.

Activities, personal reflection, theory and practice are combined in a safe and inclusive environment to give each individual the opportunity to address their own needs and create a post course plan to meet those needs.
